قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الطَّوِيلُ ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يُلَبِّي عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ فَقَالَ : وَمَا شُبْرُمَةُ ؟ ، فَذَكَرَ قَرَابَةً لَهُ ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : حَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، قَالَ : فَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ، ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ .
1152 - وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، فَذَكَرَهُ مُرْسَلًا .
وَالْمَحْفُوظُ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا .
1152 - وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، فَذَكَرَهُ مُرْسَلًا .
وَالْمَحْفُوظُ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا .
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man calling out the talbiyah of Hajj on behalf of someone named Shubrumah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who is this Shubrumah?" The man mentioned a close relative of his. At this he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Have you first performed your own Hajj?" He submitted: "No." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "First perform Hajj on your own behalf, then after that perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Imam Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated this report as mursal, while according to the hadith scholars, what is preserved (mahfuz) and established in this hadith is that it is narrated through Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both).
