It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a slave performs Hajj even ten times, one Hajj (after his freedom) remains obligatory upon him, provided he has the means for it; and if a Bedouin (desert Arab) performs Hajj ten times, one Hajj will be required of him after he emigrates, provided he has the means for it; and if a child performs Hajj even ten times, the Hajj of Islam (the obligatory Hajj) remains due from him once he reaches the age of reason and maturity, provided that he 'is able to find a way to it' [Surah Al Imran: 97], that is, he has the ability to reach there."
