قَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ ، ثَنَا مَيْسَرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ ، قَالَا : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَفِيهِ : وَمَنَ خَلَفَ حَاجًّا أَوْ مُعْتَمِرًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ كَامِلًا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the two of them said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) once delivered a sermon to us. (The narrator) mentioned the (complete) hadith, in which there was also this (blessed saying): "Whoever looks after and provides for the family of someone performing Hajj or Umrah, with goodness, in his absence, will also receive a complete reward equal to his (the one performing Hajj or Umrah), and nothing at all will be reduced from his own reward."
