Amr bin Shu'ayb narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, the fasting person has, at the time of breaking his fast, a supplication which is certainly answered (in the court of Allah)." So when Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) broke his fast, he would gather his family and children and supplicate earnestly before Allah.
I (the author, Ibn Hajar) say: This hadith is found in the Sunan of Ibn Majah through another chain from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), both marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) and mawquf (halted at the Companion), with different wording.
