Sa'id bin Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a man asked Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): May I kiss my wife while I am fasting? He said: "There is no harm in it." Then the man asked: May I kiss a woman other than my wife? Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) (expressing strong displeasure) said: "Shame on you (that is, what an ignorant question this is)!" The narrator says: I asked Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) about the same issue, and he too gave the same answer: "There is no harm in it."
