Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty most certainly descends in three hours of the night. In the first hour He opens the Dhikr (that is, the Preserved Tablet), which no one other than Him has seen, and then He erases whatever He wills and keeps whatever He wills. Then in the second hour He descends to the Garden of Adn, and it is something which no one other than Him has seen and the thought of which has never occurred to any human heart. In this Garden, along with the Lord, only three kinds of people from the children of Adam will dwell: the Prophets, the Siddiqin (the truthful) and the martyrs. Then He says: 'Glad tidings for those who will enter you!'"
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator Ziyadah bin Muhammad, who is da'if (weak).
