Sayyiduna Amr bin Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My mother took me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over my head and supplicated for provision for me.
Abu Ya'la recorded it.

In one of his narrations the words are: My mother (the narrator is unsure, perhaps the words are:) my father took me along. Al-Tabarani recorded both narrations with various chains; the narrators of Abu Ya'la and of some of al-Tabarani's chains are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Amr bin Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: At the time of the Battle of Badr I was in my mother's womb.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).

Abu Musa says: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, Sayyiduna Amr bin Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him) was twelve years old. He says: The kunyah of Sayyiduna Amr bin Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him) was Abu Sa'id.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators up to Abu Nu'aym are thiqat (trustworthy).
