Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him): "Satirise the polytheists! Indeed, Allah Almighty will support you through the Holy Spirit (Ruh al-Qudus)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains Ayyub bin Suwayd al-Ramli, who is da'if (weak); Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy) and said: He had a poor memory.
