Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The mother of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), the mother of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), the mother of Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), the mother of Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him), the mother of Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) and the mother of Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration; its chain contains a narrator, Khazim bin al-Husayn, who is da'if (weak).

Al-Haytham bin Adi narrates: The name of the mother of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was Umm al-Khayr bint Sakhr bin Amir. When Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, his parents became his heirs; both of them had accepted Islam. However, the mother of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away before his father.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and its chain is munqati' (broken).
