Musa bin Talhah narrates: "Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was of white complexion, tinged with redness. He was of medium height, though he seemed rather short. His chest was broad and both his shoulders were wide; when he turned his attention, he turned fully. Both his feet were large."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Abd al-Aziz bin Imran, who is da'if (weak).

Al-Waqidi narrates: Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was of wheatish complexion. He had abundant hair; his hair was neither very curly nor completely straight. He had a handsome face and a thin nose. When he walked, he walked quickly. He did not dye his white hair. He was martyred at the Battle of the Camel in the month of Jumada, in the year 36 AH.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators up to al-Waqidi are thiqat (trustworthy).
