Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: There were twenty young men of the Ansar who stayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to attend to his needs. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to get something done, he would send them (or one of them) for that task.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.
Sayyiduna Abdur-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Five or four of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would never leave the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) the door of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Musa bin Ubaydah al-Rabadhi, and he is da'if (weak).
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We used to come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in turns, so that if he had some need, or wanted to send us on some errand, it could be done. Sometimes the people waiting for their turn became many. Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us while we were talking about the Dajjal, and he said: "What is this whispering? Did I not forbid you from whispering?"
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though there is disagreement about some of them.
Asim bin Sufyan narrates that he heard Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him), or perhaps Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), say: "I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission to spend the night at his door, so that he could wake me if he needed something. He gave me permission, and I spent the night there."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
