بَابُ مَا يُصَفِّي الْوُدَّ

عَنْ شَيْبَةَ الْحَجَبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" ثَلَاثٌ يُصَفِّينَ لَكَ وُدَّ أَخِيكَ : تُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا لَقِيتَهُ ، وَتُوَسِّعُ لَهُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ ، وَتَدْعُوهُ بِأَحَبِّ أَسْمَائِهِ إِلَيْهِ " .
" ثَلَاثٌ يُصَفِّينَ لَكَ وُدَّ أَخِيكَ : تُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا لَقِيتَهُ ، وَتُوَسِّعُ لَهُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ ، وَتَدْعُوهُ بِأَحَبِّ أَسْمَائِهِ إِلَيْهِ " .
Shaybah al-Hajabi narrates this statement of his paternal uncle: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three things will make your brother's affection for you pure: that you greet him with salam when you meet him, make room for him in the gathering, and call him by the name that is most beloved to him."
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : " وَتَعُودُهُ إِذَا مَرِضَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

In one narration the words are: "And that you visit him when he is ill."
