Abu Iyad narrates from one of the Companions that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade sitting between the sun and the shade (i.e. partly in both at the same time), and he said: "This is the sitting place of Shaytan."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Kathir bin Abi Kathir, who is thiqah (trustworthy).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man to sit between the shade and the sun (i.e. partly in both at the same time).
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Isma'il bin Muslim al-Makki, who is matruk (abandoned).
