Majma al-Zawaid 12929 — The prohibition of sitting in darkness

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not sit in a dark house unless a lamp had been lit there.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Jabir bin Yazid al-Ju'fi, who is matruk (abandoned).
