Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The signs (of the nearness of the Hour) are beads strung on a thread; if the thread breaks, they begin to fall one after another."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Ali bin Zayd, who is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The signs (of the nearness of the Hour) will appear one after another, just as beads (or pearls) fall one after another from a string."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal and Dawud al-Zahrani, whose case is different, and both of them are thiqah (trustworthy).
