Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Among the greatest of sins is that a man says to his brother: "Fear Allah," and the other says: "Mind your own self! Are you giving me orders?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

It is also reported from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "It is enough of a sin for a man that when he is told: 'Fear Allah!' he becomes angry."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. (Al-Haythami says:) I say: Before this, the hadith of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed, concerning rulers who speak and whose (wrong) words are not rejected, that such people will go into Hell.
That narration has passed in the Book of the Caliphate.
