عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ قَالَ : مَكَّةُ . وَأَنْتَ حِلٌّ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ قَالَ : مَكَّةُ . وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ قَالَ : آدَمُ . لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ قَالَ : فِي اعْتِدَالٍ وَانْتِصَابٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعَطَّارُ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates concerning this saying of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty says: "I swear by this city." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: "This means Makkah." "While you reside in this city." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "This means Makkah." "And by the father and what he begot." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "This means Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him)." "Indeed, We have created man in toil (kabad)." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: "That is, He created him well-proportioned and standing upright."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ubayd bin Ishaq al-Attar, who is da'if (weak).

Hadith Takhrij «اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الكبير (12412)»
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ قَالَ : قَسَمُ الْقَسَمِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates, Allah Almighty says: "I swear by this city." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: "This means an oath upon an oath."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Hadith Takhrij «اخرجه البزار فى المسند (2287)»
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ قَالَ : سَبِيلَ الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَفِيهِ عَاصِمُ بْنُ أَبِي النَّجُودِ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says, Allah Almighty says: "And We showed him the two ways." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "That is, the way of good and the way of evil."
Tabarani recorded it with two chains; its chain contains a narrator, Asim bin Abi al-Najud, who is thiqah (trustworthy) yet has some weakness, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
