Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, Allah Almighty says: "They will remain therein (in Hell) for ages (ahqab)." Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "One 'huqb' is eighty years."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Hajjaj bin Nusayr, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) and said: "He makes mistakes and errs." A group of scholars declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "'They will remain therein (in Hell) for many huqub.' One 'huqb' will be thirty thousand years."
Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ja'far bin al-Zubayr, who is da'if (weak).
