Abu Amir al-Hawzani narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Kabshah al-Anmari (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him and said: "Lend me your horse for stud, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever lends (his horse) for stud, and another horse is born as a result, the one who gave it receives a reward like that of seventy horses he had given for riding in the way of Allah.'"
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, except that al-Tabarani's wording is: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever lends his horse for stud to a Muslim, and another horse is born as a result, receives a reward like that of seventy horses he had given for riding in the way of Allah; and if no horse is born as a result, he receives the reward of giving one horse for riding in the way of Allah." The narrators of both reports are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Of the kindnesses people do for one another, nothing is more virtuous than lending an animal for stud. A man lends his horse for stud, and its reward continues to flow for him; a man lends his stallion for stud, and its reward continues to flow for him; a man lends his ram for stud, and its reward continues to flow for him.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
