Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When revelation descended upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would suffer from a headache, and he would cover his head with a paste of henna.
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Ahwas bin Hakim, who has been declared trustworthy, though there is much weakness in him; and a narrator, Abu Awn, whom I do not know.

Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a sore or a wound, he would instruct me to apply henna to it.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
