بَابٌ فِي الشُّونِيزِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْكَمْأَةِ وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى تَقَمَّحَ كَفًّا مِنْ شُونِيزَ ، وَيَشْرَبُ عَلَيْهِ مَاءً وَعَسَلًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْعَطَّارُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was ill, he would take a handful of black seed (kalonji) and drink honey and water on top of it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Yahya bin Sa'id al-Attar, who is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ ، وَالنَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُصَلِّي إِلَى الْمَقَامِ ، وَهُمْ خَلْفَهُ جُلُوسٌ يَنْتَظِرُونَهُ ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَهْوَى بِيَدِهِ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ كَأَنَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ شَيْئًا ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَثَارُوا ، فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِيَدِهِ أَنِ اجْلِسُوا ، فَجَلَسُوا ، فَقَالَ :
" رَأَيْتُمُونِي حِينَ فَرَغْتُ مِنْ صَلَاتِي أَهْوَيْتُ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ كَأَنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ آخُذَ شَيْئًا ؟ " . قَالُوا : نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَ مَا فِيهَا ، وَإِنَّهَا مَرَّتْ بِي خُصْلَةٌ مِنْ عِنَبٍ فَأَعْجَبَتْنِي ، فَأَهْوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا لِآخُذَهَا ، فَسَبَقَتْنِي ، وَلَوْ أَخَذْتُهَا لَغَرَزْتُهَا بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْكُمْ حَتَّى تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْكَمْأَةَ دَوَاءُ الْعَيْنِ ، وَأَنَّ الْعَجْوَةَ مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَأَنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ الْتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْمِلْحِ دَوَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ الْإِمَامَ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ : سَمِعَ زُهَيْرَ عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، وَصَالِحَ بْنَ حَيَّانَ فَجَعَلَهُمَا وَاحِدًا . قُلْتُ : وَاصِلٌ ثِقَةٌ ، وَصَالِحُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ وَاصِلٍ فِي الظَّاهِرِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ بِاخْتِصَارٍ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ صَالِحٍ أَيْضًا .
" رَأَيْتُمُونِي حِينَ فَرَغْتُ مِنْ صَلَاتِي أَهْوَيْتُ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ كَأَنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ آخُذَ شَيْئًا ؟ " . قَالُوا : نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَ مَا فِيهَا ، وَإِنَّهَا مَرَّتْ بِي خُصْلَةٌ مِنْ عِنَبٍ فَأَعْجَبَتْنِي ، فَأَهْوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا لِآخُذَهَا ، فَسَبَقَتْنِي ، وَلَوْ أَخَذْتُهَا لَغَرَزْتُهَا بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْكُمْ حَتَّى تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْكَمْأَةَ دَوَاءُ الْعَيْنِ ، وَأَنَّ الْعَجْوَةَ مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَأَنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ الْتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْمِلْحِ دَوَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ الْإِمَامَ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ : سَمِعَ زُهَيْرَ عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، وَصَالِحَ بْنَ حَيَّانَ فَجَعَلَهُمَا وَاحِدًا . قُلْتُ : وَاصِلٌ ثِقَةٌ ، وَصَالِحُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ وَاصِلٍ فِي الظَّاهِرِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ بِاخْتِصَارٍ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ صَالِحٍ أَيْضًا .
Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: He was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) along with forty-two people. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying facing the Maqam of Ibrahim, and these people were sitting behind him, waiting for him. When he completed the prayer, he stretched out his hand toward the space between himself and the Ka'bah, as though he wanted to take hold of something. When he turned toward his Companions, they began to rise; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to them with his blessed hand that they should remain seated, and they remained seated. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You saw me, when I had finished the prayer, stretch out my hand toward the Ka'bah as though I wanted to take hold of something? The people said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise was presented to me, and I have never seen anything like what is in it. Then a bunch of grapes came before me and it pleased me, so I stretched out my hand toward it to take it, but it eluded my hand. Had I taken it and planted it among you, you would have kept eating the fruits of Paradise. Know that truffles are a remedy for the eye, and that the Ajwah date is among the fruits of Paradise, and that this black seed (kalonji) which is found in salt is a remedy for every disease except death.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih; however, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal says: Zuhayr heard from Wasil bin Hayyan and he heard from Salih bin Hayyan, and he made the two of them one person. I say: Wasil is thiqah (trustworthy) and Salih bin Hayyan is da'if (weak), and
this report is that of Wasil; so it apparently seems, and Allah knows best. He
also recorded this report in abridged form as the narration of Salih.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih; however, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal says: Zuhayr heard from Wasil bin Hayyan and he heard from Salih bin Hayyan, and he made the two of them one person. I say: Wasil is thiqah (trustworthy) and Salih bin Hayyan is da'if (weak), and
this report is that of Wasil; so it apparently seems, and Allah knows best. He

وَعَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" الْحَبَّةُ السَّوْدَاءُ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Usamah bin Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The black seed is a cure for every disease except death."

وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ السَّلْوَى ، وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مِنَ الْمَنِّ " . وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ . وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ فِي الْأَطْعِمَةِ .
" الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ السَّلْوَى ، وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مِنَ الْمَنِّ " . وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ . وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ فِي الْأَطْعِمَةِ .
Amr bin Hurayth relates: My father narrated this hadith to me from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he said: "Truffles are part of the salwa (quail), and their water is a cure for the eye."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it; however, al-Tabarani recorded these words: "part of the manna". Its chain contains Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, who suffered from confusion in his memory. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih. Before this, the hadith narrated from Sa'id bin Zayd has already passed in the chapter on foods.
