Sayyidah Rubayyi' bint Mu'awwidh (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked cucumber.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Ishaq, and he is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw cucumber in the right hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and fresh dates in his left hand. He would eat from this one at one time and then from that one (that is, he would take one bite from this and one from that).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat within a long hadith, which contains a narrator, Asram bin Hawshab, and he is matruk (abandoned).
