Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked seven parts of a goat: the gall bladder, the bladder, the private part (of the female), the private part (of the male), the testicles, the gland, and the blood. The part of the goat most beloved to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was its front part. The narrator says: Food was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people began putting morsels of meat into his mouth. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The finest meat is the meat of the back.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Yahya al-Himmani, and he is da'if (weak).

Nusaykah, the mother of Amr bin Julas, narrates: I was with Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she had slaughtered a goat of hers. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came into the house with a small stick in his hand. He put it down, then went to the place set aside for prayer and offered two rak'ahs there. Then he came to his bed and sat on it, and then asked: "Is there anything to eat?" We presented to him a bowl containing barley bread and a piece of bread, a piece of tripe (karish, meat of a particular part of the animal), and a foreleg. She narrates: Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) took the piece of tripe and began tearing at it with her teeth, and meanwhile she said: "We slaughtered a goat today and kept nothing except this" (that is, the rest of the meat was given in charity). She narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No! Rather, you have kept all of it except this" (that is, what was given in charity has been preserved with Allah Almighty).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Isma'il bin Ibrahim bin Mujammi', and he is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A goat (its meat) and loaves of bread were given as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to eat, and the people also began to eat. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Make sure you eat the meat of the back, for it is the finest.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, within a long hadith about virtues (manaqib). Its chain contains a narrator, Asram bin Hawshab, and he is matruk (abandoned).

Abu Amr al-Shaybani narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some dirhams with a man and said: "What will you do with them?" He said: "I will buy a large jar (faraq) of ghee with them." He said: "Give these dirhams to your wife; let her keep them under her bedding, and then buy meat for one dirham every day."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Arib bin Humayd, and he is thiqah (trustworthy). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadiths about "Hand me the foreleg" come in the chapter on the signs of prophethood.
