عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْأَبْكَارِ ، فَإِنَّهُنَّ أَنَتَقُ أَرْحَامًا وَأَعْذَبُ أَفْوَاهًا وَأَقَلُّ حُبًّا وَأَرْضَى بِالْيَسِيرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَنِيزٌ السَّقَّاءُ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Marry virgins, for their wombs are more able to bear children, their mouths are sweeter, they have fewer desires, and they are content with little."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Kaniz al-Saqqa', who is matruk (abandoned).

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَزَوَّجُوا الْأَبْكَارَ فَإِنَّهُنَّ أَعْذَبُ أَفْوَاهًا ، وَأَنْتَقُ أَرْحَامًا ، وَأَرْضَى بِالْيَسِيرِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .

وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ : كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " يَا فُلَانُ تَزَوَّجْتَ ؟ " قَالَ : لَا . قَالَ لِي : " تَزَوَّجْتَ ؟ " قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ . فَقَالَ : " بِكْرًا أَمْ ثَيِّبًا ؟ " قُلْتُ : لَا بَلْ ثَيِّبًا . قَالَ : " فَهَلَّا بِكْرًا تَعَضُّهَا وَتَعَضُّكَ ؟ " .

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "O so-and-so! Have you married?" He said: "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: "Have you married?" I said: "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "A virgin or a previously married woman?" I said: "No! Rather, a previously married woman." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why not a virgin, so that you would bite her and she would bite you?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it from al-Rabi' bin Ka'b bin Ujrah from his father, and I did not find anyone who gave the biography of al-Rabi'; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though there is weakness in some of them, and Ibn Hibban declared them trustworthy.

وَعَنْ سَهْلَةَ بِنْتِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَتْ : وُلِدْتُ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ يَوْمَ فَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - حُنَيْنًا فَسَمَّانِي : " سَهْلَةَ " فَقَالَ : " سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ أَمْرَكِ " وَضَرَبَ لِي بِسَهْمٍ وَزَوَّجَنِي عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ يَوْمَ وُلِدْتُ .

Sayyidah Sahlah bint Asim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I was born at the time of the Battle of Hunayn, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Hunayn. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Sahlah and said: "Allah Almighty will make your affair easy." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also assigned me a share, and on the day I was born he married me to Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him).
