بَابُ عِتْقِ وَلَدِ الزِّنَا .

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ نَمُنَّ عَلَى أَوْلَادِ الزِّنَا فِي الْعِتْقِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمَدِينِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمَدِينِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed us to show kindness, in freeing slaves, to children born of zina (that is, to free them).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Zakariyya bin Yahya al-Madini, whom I do not know; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ سُلْمَى بِنْتِ نَصْرٍ الْمُحَارِبِيَّةِ قَالَتْ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عَتَاقَةِ وَلَدِ الزِّنَا ، فَقَالَتْ : أَعْتِقِيهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ . وَسَلْمَى لَمْ أَعْرِفْهَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Salma bint Nasr al-Muharibiyyah narrates: I asked Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) about freeing a child born of zina, and she said: "Free him."
