وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ حَبَسَ فِي تُهْمَةٍ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace and blessings be upon him) imprisoned a man on account of an accusation.
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : أَنَّهُ كَفَلَ فِي تُهْمَةٍ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خُثَيْمِ بْنِ عِرَاكٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

In one narration the wording is: He required surety in a case of accusation (or he appointed a guarantor; perhaps it could also mean that he demanded a guarantee in connection with an accusation).
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Ibrahim bin Khuthaym bin Irak, who is matruk (abandoned).
