عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَبِيعَ الرَّجُلُ عَرِيَّتَهُ مِنَ النَّخْلِ بِخَرْصِهَا مِنَ التَّمْرِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ الْآخَرُ " .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is no harm in a man selling, as an 'ariyyah, his share of a date palm for an estimated amount of dried dates, intending that the other person will eat it." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is reported in the "Sahih" as a narration of Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator Ibn Lahi'ah, whose hadith is hasan (good), though he has been criticised, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا بِالْوَسْقِ وَالْوَسْقَيْنِ ، وَالثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَالْأَرْبَعَةِ ، وَقَالَ : " فِي كُلِّ جَادٍّ عَشَرَةُ أَوْسُقٍ وَمَا بَقِيَ عِذْقًا يُوضَعُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ " .
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : وَهُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَشْتَرِطُونَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى التُّجَّارِ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : وَهُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَشْتَرِطُونَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى التُّجَّارِ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted a concession regarding 'araya, that it may be up to one wasq, or two wasqs, or three, or four wasqs. He said: From every harvest of ten wasqs, a cluster is to be placed in the mosque for the poor. The narrator Muhammad says: Nowadays people impose this as a condition on the traders.
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator Ibn Ishaq, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - فِيمَا يَظُنُّ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ - قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الرُّطَبِ بِالتَّمْرِ ، وَالْعِنَبِ بِالزَّبِيبِ ، وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا . وَالْعَرَايَا يَجِيءُ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ إِلَى ابْنِ عَمٍّ لَهُ أَوْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ فَيَأْمُرُ لَهُ بِالنَّخْلَةِ وَالنَّخْلَتَيْنِ ، وَلَمْ يَبْلُغْ ، وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الْخُرُوجَ فَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِالتَّمْرِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ . وَابْنُ عَطَاءٍ إِنْ كَانَ يَعْقُوبَ بْنَ عَطَاءٍ فَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرَهُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ . وَابْنُ عَطَاءٍ إِنْ كَانَ يَعْقُوبَ بْنَ عَطَاءٍ فَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرَهُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates (according to the assumption of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, it was he who stated this): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling fresh dates in exchange for dried dates, and grapes in exchange for raisins, but he granted a concession regarding 'araya. 'Araya means that a Bedouin comes to his cousin or to some other member of his family, and he gives him one date palm or two which have not yet ripened; then he wants to leave, so there is no harm in his selling (that tree) in exchange for dried dates.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir via Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, from Ibn Ata, from his father. If Ibn Ata means Ya'qub bin Ata, then he is da'if (weak), though Ibn Hibban declared him trustworthy; and if someone else is meant, then I do not know him.
