بَابُ كَسْبِ الْأَمَةِ .

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ : " لَا تَسْتَغِلُّوا الْأَمَةَ إِلَّا أَمَةً صَنَاعَ الْيَدَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَالِكُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّهْشَلِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates as a "marfu'" hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not seek earnings from a slave woman, except a slave woman who is skilled in a handicraft."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Malik bin Sulayman al-Nahshali, and I have not found anyone who has written his biography.

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَهَى عَنْ كَسْبِ الْأَمَةِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهَا عَمَلٌ وَاصِبٌ يُعْرَفُ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِاخْتِصَارٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِاخْتِصَارٍ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the earnings of a slave woman, unless she has a known, constant craft (in which case the ruling is different). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
