Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The slaughtered animals of the Jews and the Christians have been made lawful because they believe in the Torah and the Injil.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Isma'il bin Umar al-Bajali, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Imam al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared him da'if (weak).
