Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6053

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Some Bedouins used to bring us meat, and we had misgivings about it in our minds. We mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "Take a firm oath from them that they slaughtered it, then mention the name of Allah and eat it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
