Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when the last ten days began, he would fold up his bedding, keep away from his wives, and take his evening meal at the time of suhur.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Hafs bin Waqid al-Basri. Ibn Adi said: Munkar (denounced) hadiths are narrated from him.

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: In the last ten days of the month of Ramadan, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wake his family, every young and old person who was able to pray. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Al-Tirmidhi recorded it in abridged form.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and Abu Ya'la recorded it in abridged form. Al-Tabarani's chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Ghaffar bin Qasim, and he is da'if (weak); Abu Ya'la's chain is hasan (good).
