بَابٌ فِيمَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ .

عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الدَّالُّ عَلَى الْخَيْرِ كَفَاعِلِهِ ، وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ إِغَاثَةَ اللَّهْفَانِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ زِيَادٌ النُّمَيْرِيُّ ; وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ - وَقَالَ : يُخْطِئُ - وَابْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ . وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى كَذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ زِيَادٌ النُّمَيْرِيُّ ; وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ - وَقَالَ : يُخْطِئُ - وَابْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ . وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى كَذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The one who guides to good is like the one who does it, and Allah Almighty loves helping the one in need."
Al-Bazzar recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Ziyad al-Numayri, whom Ibn Hibban declared "thiqah (trustworthy)"; he says: He makes mistakes. Ibn Adi also declared him "thiqah (trustworthy)", while a group called him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy). Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this narration in the same way.

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الدَّالُّ عَلَى الْخَيْرِ كَفَاعِلِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنْ سَهْلٍ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ .
قُلْتُ : وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ أَحَادِيثُ هَذَا الْبَابِ فِي الْعِلْمِ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who guides to good is like the one who does it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. He says: This narration is reported from Sahl only with this chain. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know. Other hadith related to this chapter have already passed in the chapter on knowledge.
