Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who gives out of abundance (that is, prosperity) is not more virtuous than the one who takes, when the one who takes is in need."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Mus'ab bin Sa'id, and he is da'if (weak).
