Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When someone, while in a state of janabah, washes (his head) with khitmi (marshmallow) and then performs the ritual bath after that, he may wash his head with water if he wishes.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).

It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the ritual bath for janabah he would wash his head with khitmi (marshmallow); then he would bathe and would not wash his head (with water).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain contains a narrator, Hajjaj bin Artat.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: If a person, in the ritual bath for janabah, washes his head with khitmi (marshmallow) and washes it well, it will do him no harm if he does not pour water over it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and there is no narrator in its chain who has been declared da'if (weak).
