Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1482

It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the ritual bath for janabah he would wash his head with khitmi (marshmallow); then he would bathe and would not wash his head (with water).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain contains a narrator, Hajjaj bin Artat.
