Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9989

Sayyiduna Abu Hazim al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of Badr the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the shade, while his Companions were fighting in the sun. Sayyiduna Jibril came to him and said: "You are in the shade while the Muslims are fighting in the sun." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) got up and came out into the sun.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains al-Hasan bin Salih bin Abi al-Aswad, who is extremely da'if (weak).
