وَعَنِ الْبَهِيِّ قَالَ : كَانَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَرَسَانِ : الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ عَلَى فَرَسٍ مِنَ الْمَيْمَنَةِ ، وَالْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ عَلَى فَرَسٍ عَلَى الْمَيْسَرَةِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ .
Al-Bahi narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Badr there were two horsemen with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) was mounted on a horse and was stationed on the right wing, and Sayyiduna al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) was mounted on a horse and was stationed on the left wing.
