Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The first military expedition in which we took part with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the first expedition he undertook, was the expedition of al-Abwa'. When we reached the place called al-Rawha', the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at the place called "Irq al-Zubyah" and prayed. Then he asked: "Do you know what the name of this mountain is?" The people submitted: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "This is "Khimt"; it is one of the mountains of Paradise. O Allah, bless it and bless its people." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said about "al-Rawha'": "This is "Sajasij", one of the valleys of Paradise. Seventy prophets have prayed in this mosque before me. Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) also passed by here, wearing two Qatawani cloaks and riding an ash-coloured she-camel, with seventy thousand people of the Children of Israel; they had come to perform Hajj to the Ancient House. And the Hour will not be established until Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him), who is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, passes by here to perform Hajj or Umrah (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are: or Allah Almighty will combine both for him)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it by way of Kathir bin Abdullah al-Muzani, who is da'if (weak) according to the majority. Al-Tirmidhi declared his hadith hasan (good). The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy). The hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) will come later in the chapter on the virtues of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
