عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ : خَيَّرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَيْنَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَالْبَصْرَةِ ، فَاخْتَرْتُ الْهِجْرَةَ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me the choice between emigration (hijrah) and support (nusrah), and I chose emigration.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih except Ali bin Zayd, and this narrator is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith).
