وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لَيْلَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ ، قَالَ جَابِرٌ : وَأَخْرَجَنِي خَالَايَ ، وَأَنَا لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ بِحَجَرٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the night of the Pledge of al-Aqabah we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: My two maternal uncles took me along, although I was not even able to throw a stone.
