وَعَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ : وَلَا تَحِلُّ غَنِيمَةٌ حَتَّى تُقْسَمَ ، وَلَا نَفْلٌ حَتَّى يُقْسَمَ لِلنَّاسِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Ma'n bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Spoils of war are not lawful until they are distributed, and no extra reward will be given until (the spoils) have been distributed among the people.
