وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ بِوَادِي الْقُرَى وَهُوَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ وَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ : اسْتُشْهِدَ مَوْلَاكَ - أَوْ قَالَ : غُلَامُكَ فُلَانٌ - قَالَ : " بَلْ يُجَرُّ إِلَى النَّارِ فِي عَبَاءَةٍ غَلَّهَا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Abdullah bin Shaqiq narrates: Someone who heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told him that he was at Wadi al-Qura at the time, riding a horse. A man came to him and said: "Your slave has been martyred" (the narrator is unsure about the word here). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rather, he is being dragged to Hell because of a cloak that he took by embezzlement."
