وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ فَهُوَ مَوْلَاهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصَّدَفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever accepts Islam at the hands of a person, he will have the bond of wala' (clientship) with him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Mu'awiyah bin Yahya al-Sadafi, who is da'if (weak).
