وَعَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ نَجَبَةَ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ حَكِيمُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : مَحَلُّهُ الصِّدْقُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ حَكِيمُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : مَحَلُّهُ الصِّدْقُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
Al-Musayyab bin Najabah narrates: I came to Sayyiduna Imam al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and he told me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "War is a deception."
Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Hakim bin Jubayr, and he is matruk (abandoned); the majority declared him da'if (weak). Abu Hatim said: "His standing is that of truthfulness, if Allah wills."
