وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ إِلَى قَوْمٍ يُقَاتِلُهُمْ ، ثُمَّ بَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ : " لَا تَدَعْهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ ، وَقُلْ لَهُ : لَا تُقَاتِلْهُمْ حَتَّى تَدْعُوَهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْقُرْقُسَانِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْقُرْقُسَانِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) to a people to fight them, and then sent a man after Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Do not call him from behind, and tell him: Do not fight the people until you have first invited them."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Uthman bin Yahya al-Qurqusani, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
