عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تَمَنَّوْا لِقَاءَ الْعَدُوِّ ، فَإِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ مَا يَكُونُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا قَوْلَهُ : فَإِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ مَا يَكُونُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا قَوْلَهُ : فَإِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ مَا يَكُونُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not wish to meet the enemy, for you do not know what its outcome will be." (Allamah Haythami says:) I say:
This report is mentioned in the Sahih, but without these words: "for you do not know what its outcome will be."
Ahmad recorded it, and Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Muhammad bin Ishaq, who is a mudallis.
