وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ : نَزَلَتْ سُورَةٌ نَحْوًا مِنْ " بَرَاءَةٌ " فَرُفِعَتْ فَحَفِظْتُ مِنْهَا : إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِأَقْوَامٍ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ . فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَيُحَسَّنُ حَدِيثُهُ لِهَذِهِ الشَّوَاهِدِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A surah about the length of Surah al-Tawbah was revealed, then it was taken up, and I remembered this from it: "Indeed Allah Almighty will support this religion through people who will have no share (in the Hereafter)." After this the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Ali bin Zayd, who is da'if (weak); his hadith has been graded hasan (good) because of these supporting reports (shawahid).
