وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ : لَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُمَتِّعُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِنَصَارَى مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ عَلَى شَاطِئِ الْفُرَاتِ " مَا تَرَكْتُ أَعْرَابِيًّا إِلَّا قَتَلْتُهُ أَوْ يُسْلِمَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ الْقُرَشِيَّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Had I not heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed Allah Almighty will benefit this religion even through Christians of Rabi'ah on the bank of the Euphrates," I would have had every Bedouin either killed or he would have accepted Islam.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abdullah bin Umar al-Qurashi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
