عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عِصَابَتَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحْرَزَهُمَا اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ : عِصَابَةٌ تَغْزُو الْهِنْدَ وَعِصَابَةٌ تَكُونُ مَعَ عِيسَى بْنِ مَرْيَمَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَسَقَطَ تَابِعِيُّهُ ، وَالظَّاهِرُ أَنَّهُ رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَسَقَطَ تَابِعِيُّهُ ، وَالظَّاهِرُ أَنَّهُ رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two groups of my Ummah Allah Almighty will protect from Hell: a group that will fight against India (al-Hind), and a group that will be with Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon them both)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. The mention of the Tabi'i has dropped from it; apparently he is Rashid bin Sa'd. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
