وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " ذُرْوَةُ سَنَامِ الْإِسْلَامِ الْجِهَادُ لَا يَنَالُهُ إِلَّا أَفْضَلُهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The peak of the hump of Islam is jihad; only the most excellent of them can attain it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Yazid, who is da'if (weak).
